Why eat crickets?
For the health of the planet and our bodies, crickets are the future. An ideal protein source, they have twice as much protein, emit less than 1% of the greenhouse gases, and use less than 0.5% of the water as beef.
Crickets are packed with protein, minerals, and pre-biotic fiber, making them great for your gut health and overall nutrition. While over 80% of the world's population eats insects, it's still uncommon where we're from. That's why we're introducing crickets through delicious chocolate treats and snacks.

What do crickets taste like?
Our food-grade crickets are raised specifically to promote a delicious eating experience, and taste different from any others you may have tried. They have a mild, slightly nutty flavor that reminds people of pumpkin seeds, almonds, and even puffed rice. They pair well with almost any food, but we like them with chocolate, caramel, and spices.
Claire and Chad were very receptive and responsive to questions I had about their products before I made my purchase. I am a repeat customer, but I hadn't ever tried cricket powder before, so I wanted to ask about it. They let me know that it is 100% pure milled crickets without any preservatives or other additives, shelf-stable for 1 year but can last even longer refrigerated or frozen! It's easy to use, and virtually imperceptible in baked goods, though if you use enough of it you do get a nice nutty undertone to your snacks. I love that they create all their products with the environment and human health in mind, and the quality of their stuff has always been great. My favorite thing about this powder is actually that, because it is pure cricket powder, it's safe to use to supplement my gecko's diet and to feed to my carnivorous plants! Thank you!!
The powder works very well in baked goods. I have added it to corn muffins, pancake and waffle mixes. It also worked well bacon grease oatmeal cookies from scratch.
Not the biggest fan of it in oatmeal however. Anything more a than a teaspoon will over power it.
I find it works better for me in food prepping more savory dishes like quinoa and tomato sauce. Works okay in grit's with a savory base like broth and savory soups in general.
My only prior experience eating insects was in Korea where I tried beetles one time from a street vendor - they were terrible.. I am happy I'm able to eat the crickets powder
Love it! And I don’t have to buy from Amazon which is an extra plus!
I'm a breeder specializing in high end line bred animals and my geckos really enjoy this added into their food.
The first cricket powder I tried from a different company was not good. Very fishy smell and taste. I was hoping for better with 3 Cricketeers. I’m so happy I gave them a try. I can put in two full tablespoons of power in my post workout protein shake without any bad tastes. It enhances my chocolate protein shake with a slight nutty flavor. I think I’m going to need to change my subscription to receive it earlier because I can now get my cricket protein without forcing it down. Thank you 3 Cricketeers!!!
